PowerScore (PS) is assigned to each participant. Bladers will collect PS in each format separately. A Blader can have a lot of points in BU50 category, but zero points in ICO category, for example.
It increases based on a table:
| Placement | PS Increase |
|---|---|
| 1st | 20 |
| 2nd | 16 |
| 3rd | 13 |
| 4th-8th | 9 |
| 9th-16th | 5 |
| 17th+ (Participation) | 2 |
The base point accumulation will be multiplied by a factor depending on the number of participants.
- 5-7 players: 0.5x PS (minimum 5 players are a prerequisite for any format—or 10 total matches in round-robin scheduling)
- 8-15 players: 1x PS (ideal tournament size)
- 16-31 players: 1.25x PS
- 32+ players: 1.5x PS (might require switching to Swiss-system instead of round-robin)
So if someone wins a 6-player event, they get 10 PS instead of 20. If they win a 32-player event, they get 30 PS. This ensures that the system respects difficulty.
Note: Decimal PS will be rounded to the nearest whole number. .5 will be rounded up.
