In the Powerblader Tournament, we plan to host two unique Additional Formats: Suzaku’s Triage (SZT) and Genbu’s Resistance (GBR).
- Suzaku’s Triage: MFBs and Beyblade X combos are both allowed. No X-Dash rails will be available. Only those parts are allowed that have their “type” set as attack (see footnote). Only original, unmodified winder launchers are allowed (no string launchers). Stadium: BB10 or Summit.
- Genbu’s Resistance: MFBs and Beyblade X combos are both allowed. No X-Dash rails will be available. Only those parts are allowed that have their “type” set as defense or stamina (see footnote). Only original, unmodified string launchers are allowed (no winder launchers). Stadium: Beystadium Wide Type B-50 with walls.
Here’s how we’ll divide parts by Attack (A), Defense (D), and Stamina (S):
For Beyblade X parts, the Bey Database (website: https://thebeydatabase.com/pieces) will be used as the main source. In May 2026, it has entries for 96 Blades, 35 Ratchets, and 48 Bits (assist blades, lock chips, over blades, etc., not important). It assigns a rating for Attack (A), Defense (D), and Stamina (S) to each part. The parameter with the highest (or one of the highest in case of a tie) is its main attribute.
For MFB parts, only the metal wheel, track, and tip are important. PHWs and Synchrome parts will not be allowed. Each wheel, track, and tip will be assigned A, D, or S based on past competitive performance, design, and combo performance of the part. We’ll limit this to official database from Beyblade Wiki: 81 fusion wheels, 43 spin tracks, and 62 performance tips.
The parts in each Blader’s combos will be checked against the database to ensure it fits either the A label (ST Format) and the D or S label (GR Format). The database is the final say unless it’s disputed/corrected before the event. Internally, if we face a part having equal stats in both A and D, then we’ll list it in the A section as well as the D section, assuming the part is versatile.
What happens to balance types? We’ll do our best to ascertain whether an individual part is more geared toward A, D, or S. Balance is usually neutral and only applicable to the whole Beyblade as a whole, having comparable performance in attack and defense setups. As we’re narrowing it down to the part level and not the whole package, it becomes easier to assign one of the three core attributes without having to resort to calling it balance.
The approved A/D/S part database for each event will be frozen when registration closes. Any later database changes will apply only to future events. We aim to learn from our events to make the database more accurate over time.
Once the database is ready, it will be linked here.
